Nice looking indo,i cant vouch for non aussie bluies, but sounds like standard behaviour of a nervous bluetongue, wild caughts are renowned for needing time to settle, especially when they have been in pet shops for a decent amount of time, people seem to like getting them to fire up when on displau at petshops, and often set cages up so what there trying to sell cant hide away all day
If your patient,im sure it will settle in time, even tame ones can get huffy at times, some will remain shy,but saying rhat i dont go out of my way to tame any of mine or overly handle them,i get more pleasure out of watching what they do and find any fiesty ones as ones with a bit of personality, lol, the majority of mine settle down pretty fast though just leaving them be,as they quickly learn your the bringer of all things yummy and not something big thats trying to grab them
