He and I are all moved in to our permanent digs, which means I finally have enough space to take him out for separate feedings. I can't believe how much he's grown since I got him from James Wilson nearly 2 months ago. He just finished shedding yesterday save for a few stubborn scales on his head and tail -- I'm working on those. But check out those colors!
I couldn't get him to sit still long enough for a proper measurement but I laid the ruler down near him so you all can get some sense of his size. I'm still a worrywart about his weight so if he looks unhealthily large or chubby to y'all, just let me know and I'll cut down on feedings.
Finally, as far as temperament and handling goes, I take him out 2-3 times a day for feeding in the morning and activity the rest of the day -- partially in an attempt to keep most of his excrement on the piddle pads and not in his cage, and partially my own somewhat selfish love of interacting with the little guy. He's absolutely NOT afraid of anything, just really grumpy all that time. It's pretty charming, honestly! His new favorite hobby is trying to climb things, now that he's beginning to get a little more confident as he grows larger.

Oh my goodness hes so precious!! I love the name too. Jelly roll.
Those are some magnificent colors. I dont really think he looks overweight - they kinda chub up on the very day you feed him and itll be gone the next. What a gorgeous baby.
