My Tiliqua Head Drawings

Hey!

This is a thread where I'll be adding pictures of Tiliqua "heads" I am drawing. I am going to do one for all subspecies of gigas and scincoides, as well as all the species of Bluetongue. I will only be doing one Shingle because I know their scales will be the death of me. :dead:

Up first, Halmahera (Tiliqua gigas gigas).

 That he is! The one I referenced off of was pretty angry. :P On another note, after drawing the scales out of this species, I can definitely see why previous literature would think these and Westerns should be in the same species group. Interesting they have the same occipital scalation. I think occipitalis will be next, so far they have just a bit longer heads and usually darker faces. Gonna be fun drawing it trying to not make it look like a lungata.

I thought I'd add some more to this.

Vectored my T. multifasciata:

I also drew a Kei, but just contour:

I then colored, which I was afraid to do. I seriously need to practice coloring.....:

Thanks guys. :) Dom, it takes me roughly about an hour and a half or so. I'm not the type to spend days or weeks on drawing for some reason.
