On my older blue tongue skink she has shredded aspen and I just looked at her eyelids and there alittle pinkish could it be the substrate poking her in the eyes when she burrows

You may want to switch to shaved then if the shredded is causing irritation.
Are you sure it's a new pinkishness? Sometimes the eyelids can be a bit pinker (or even bluer) than the rest of the face.
A picture of them might help us know what you're looking at.

Click "Post reply" (not "quick reply"), scroll down under the reply box, click "Upload attachment", then "browse", then go to where your photos are stored and pick the one(s) you want to upload, then click "add the file". Then click "Place inline" and it should be there.
