Well last night around 7pm my classic northern bts, Delilah delivered her first baby. Now 24 hours later almost exactly she delivered her last live baby around 7pm. All together she had 10 beautiful feisty little babes, one slug and one stillborn. The daddy of the litter is my really light colored male northern, Aggie.

This was my first litter ever of BTS and one of the most incredible and stressful experiences of my life. lol. Between 7pm last night and about 5am this morning she delivered the first 6. She decided I guess to take a break, went to bed, woke back up around 9am, basked till 10am then started delivering babies again. The next 4 came between 10am and 7pm tonight. Then one slug and then one small underdeveloped stillborn. I shoulda taken a pic of the stillborn but it was missing the top of its skull but it was literally solid white.

Anyway, here are my beautiful little babies! Some really took on daddy super light coloration, others a nice mix of both, and still others very dark like mom. And I love each one! Pictures are each baby in the order they were born. I cant WAIT to see them after they shed!

Thanks everyone! It was such a great experience and I feel really lucky to have been given the opportunity to have it, especially since it went so well. I think I owe a very big and humbled thanks to all the seasoned breeders in this community, it was their shared experience and advice that allowed me to have such a great outcome I think. Stacey, Debbie, Dave, Sue, and Austin in particular, thanks sooo much for putting up with my insistent chattering and non stop questions. lol. You guys are awesome :D

Yes these guys will be available once they've had their first sheds. They'll be first come first serve. Soon as they all finish shedding I'll post um up in the classifieds here and on the facebook group.
