Northerns mating youtube vid (and baby skink updates)

Postby RoryBreaker » Wed Aug 06, 2014 10:12 pm

Eight minutes of 'action' condensed down to 4 and a half minutes. Not locality pure Northerns but just some funky stuff I've decided to play with.

Turn the volume down on ya puter if you don't care for 90's electronic music :) Enjoy.

Cheers,
Dave.

140 days since first mating and she has given birth. A big litter for a skink which turns 2 on xmas day.

Mating occurred on three occasions, 25th and 27th of July and on the 5th of August as well. 13 in the litter and no slugs. Her sister gave birth 2 or 3 weeks ago and the whole litter was a write off, slugs, stillborns and other 'premature funkys'. Maybe it was the male's fault.

140 days?! That's pretty long for a Northern, eh?

Those babies seem so dark next to their mother. Please upload some pictures of them when they shed.

They haven't sloughed yet but I have singled one out which is very interesting. Check out how orange this little one is. I can't wait for it to slough.

I have circled the orange one out in these pictures with its siblings.

Could be a few others that will have some interesting colour and pattern too.

I have no idea how these are going to turn out.

The father is from that line of Northerns that produce the hypos.

The mother is one which I produced, came from a Jinjajoe line Kimberley x unknown locale kimbo.
