Thanks! Been in the family over 10 years. He was full grown with a stubby tail whenever my brother first acquired him. So no clue exactly. At least 10 years old maybe 12+

I built him a new cage and have had him here a week. Love it. I had a lot of different animals growing up and this is my first reptile in years. I'd love to get a baby and watch it grow.

Yea I still am a kid (I think the youngest on the forum) and can't remember a time when I didn't have a reptile. Hopefully there will never be a time like that :D but I can easily see how "life" can happen and reptiles are the least of your worries. Also could you post some pictures of his new enclosure? I wold love to see it

How old are you? I spent my early-mid teenage years on the kingsnake.com forums and had a few Savannahs, black roughneck and some cornsnakes. And then yep, life happened. My brother still has the corn snakes and they're 15 years old! I'm 28 now. But I've since added a flood light and buried a hide box. Going to add some aesthetically pleasing decorations to the cage tomorrow or Sunday. It's holding temperature well and with the time as soon as that light is on he's out roaming like clockwork.

I am 14 (joined when i was 13) have a sav, bts and a bunch of snakes. My oldest, a ball python that is almost 9 in my care and he will be with me forever! What are the dimensions on that cage? It reminds me a lot of my homemade reptile cage, opens the same way and seems to be built rather similar.
