Darwin baby going into another shed, still no name, probably not till i figure the gender.

Glad you like em. That Irwin baby is definitely going to have some serious color. It looks the best now, but I still expect the darwin babies to be nicer adults. Im really curious to see what the zero babies look like after the shed. They should have a good amount of orange to.

I'll take them into consideration. although every animal in the house that actually has a name didn't receive it for a long time, my emerald tree boa i didn't name for 3 years. ... end up doing norse gods for that group, Freya, Odin, Thor, Baldur. Zero is my female Northern, seymour is the meruake given to me by a friend.. my other Meruake still has no name, i also do my best to avoid modern people names.. nothing bugs me more than an animal with the name like frank or ted...and my male Amazon still needs a name.

Im hopeless naming anything,got a tsnky pup years ago and was calling it boofhead whilst trying to figure out a good name,it got used to boofhead before that happened,lol so boofhead it was,well boof,only used the term boofhead when he was naughty

Sushi and cheeseburger sound like wonderful names James. Id stick with those

God only knows james... hes australian... undoubtedly it has something to do with a kangaroo

I'm pretty bad with naming my animals too. I breed betta fish and I've had one of my favorite females for close to three years and haven't named her...

Gorgeous pile o northern babes! It sure has payed off having one of the best breeders as a buddy for sure!

James has gone out of his way to help me out since the day I met him. Some of the coolest animals in my collection wouldnt be in my possesion if not for james spending hours hunting them down for me, and in some cases even fronting the money to acquire them. He has definitely earned himself a free baby here and there

That's what makes reptile folks such great friends I think, I've always found my herper friends are always willing to help out when they can and vice versa. Seeing the look on a good buddies face when you let them have pick of the litter or borrow a stud or dam for their projects is worth more then any amount of money I think. I think it's awesome you two are so close, it's hard enough to find folks even willing to chat about reptile out and about in the real worth then on the internet so having a best bud to share such an awesome hobby with is like gold.

It really is hard to find people who share a similar genuine passion, while mine still is all over the place I still prefer my emeralds, and am quickly growing an appreciation for the blue tongues and I believe that's cause they remind me of Gila monsters, just not as cool. Gotta help your friends if you can.

I gotta admit, I have caught myself lurking around your fb checking out your emeralds, absolutely stunning group you have! I definitely need some Amazon Basins in my life someday, I kept chondros for a while some years back but have yet to get any emeralds. Hoping to change that soon!

lol, you know, I hadn't thought of bts looking like gilas before but now that you mention it they do look somewhat similar. I've always wanted to keep gilas and Mexican beaded but haven't had the guts quite yet. lol.

My hubby is my best friend and luckily a reptile lover as well, although he's more into his Guyana redtails and false water cobras then bts but I think I'm starting to lure him to the blue tongued side.

Keep the pics of that brilliant little Darwin babe coming! I'm really excited for you to have such an awesome northern to raise up. Darwin was the whole reason I wanted a babe from her parents so bad this year and I knew she'd drop some incredible babes! You little one looks like its on fire, even in shed.

And that Irwin babe is just incredible!

Haha,boofhead was a blue heeler(aussie cattle dog)

He was a fat pup,but his head looked proportionatly big even compared to his fat body,his neck was thick to,almost like no neck line,could slip his collar off easily,hence just calling him boofhead whilst thinking of a name,boofhead equals one with a proportionatly large head,he kind of grew into his head,but was veru solid for a heeler,so boof kind of suited him to

As an example my uncle had one a week older,same height dog,but there weights were slightly different,uncles weighed a measly 18 kgs,boof tipped scales at 29 kgs,had to weigh them prior to driving up to qld,for some knock out tablets,as they didnt get along to well and being stuck in the back seat of a suzuki swift with them for an 18 to 20 hour drive wouldnt have been fun other wise,lol
