Hunting for food

So the other day I hid a bunch of food (a meal) for Gronk to find while he was out. It was pretty cute watching him walk around to find the "hidden" food. I made a video! This is my first time ever making a video (as in, putting clips together) but it's actually kind of fun.

Apple makes things so easy!

So cute

whats that plastic wall thing? That would be so awesome for my bluey to play in so I don't have to snag her from trying to go under the furniture.

I know.

I got it a few years back ago and it was cheaper though I don't remember how much. It is very sturdy, which is good, and relatively heavy for a small animal. I'm not sure I'd spend quite so much for it these days...but I don't know? It does have some perks. It can fit to any sort of space, rolls up, they can't climb it and ...I also let my beardie have a turn in it and I threw in some crickets for him to chase. A regular pen just wouldn't work for bugs.

Great video, I really enjoyed it. I want to do something similar for Toad. I will come up with something.

One time, I had him in the pen and he was basking on a log. I set a dish of food down maybe 1.5 -2 feet away. Almost instantly, he picked up his head, sniffed the air and went straight to the food. I thought that was really cool. It'll be fun once he gets more comfortable and understands the game. I can hide the food a lot more and watch him search for all of it!
