What's wrong with my lizard?

I noticed yesterday that my lizard has a strange bump on his back! My sister thinks it's his rib cage (which means I'm underfeeding him!!). I'm not so sure.
Can anyone help??
I'll try to post a pick later.

If the spine is bend creating a bump, it might be MBD. If there's a dip in the spine near the lower back, it might be from climbing the walls too much. If there's a mass, it could be an abscess. When you post pictures it will be easier to tell what's happened.

Thanks, Fatal_S. I went to the vet today and she said it was MBD and I have now lowered my UV light. I had it too far away!
I cried when I found out!! I tried so hard to not let this happen but I mixed up the distance... :'(
Thanks for all the help though

You made a mistake, you did what was right and corrected it. I know our blue tongue skinks are pets, but they are our children in a way. No one is born a perfect parent, there is no such thing as a perfect parent manual. We just do the best we can and learn. I am sure your pet/child loves you none the less and would understand.

Supplementing food with calcium and vitamin D3 will be more beneficial that UVB lights.

Yes, a calcium+D3 supplement used regularly (I do every second meal) is good for bone health.
