New Baby Northern BTS

Postby Romeyrider » Thu Jul 17, 2014 2:22 pm

Hello everyone! I wanted to introduce baby Indivar. He was the product of James Wilson's skinks Outback and Katharin. He was born on 6-28-14 at 1:00pm. He has only had one shed which was 4 days ago when I bought him. I will try to do updated pictures of him as he sheds and grows. I am also doing a series of videos of him as he matures and does things for the first time... such as first time eating skink chow, first time walking around outside of cage, first time eating wax worms, etc. I will let you guys know when I figure how to upload those onto Youtube. The name Indivar means Blue Lotus in Indian.

Aw he's adorable I just got one of James babes too, one from Outback and Sheila, James makes some incredible babes! That's a great idea about chronicling his growth, I look forward to seeing the little vids of his firsts. I took one of my little guys first time chasing dubia roaches around the other day, I definitely recommend you doing that one! Was just too cute! Love the name too, Im still having trouble thinking of one for mine.

Indian isn't a language, just saying ;)

I have a Northern from the same pairing last year! This year's babies came out much darker.

There are some fairly light ones in the litter, but this year's pairing of Outback and Kathrine (litter B) seem to produce babies that did not come out as light as many of the babies from last years pairing. I am not complaining, I still like how they turned out.
