These are 2013 offspring and are about 17 inches long. The first 2 pics are of the first 2 animals and pics 3 and 4 of the 2nd pair. Anybody have any opinions as the sex of them?

Re: opinions on the sex
Totally a guess but look to be a pair. At least one seems to have a more pronounced jaw/head but that isn't always a good indicator. They are both beautiful and I would love to have this species one day.

Re: opinions on the sex
I'm tempted to say both female, but the hardest age to tell. Sooo many variables, none the least of which is their eating habits and size relative to siblings. Females tend to streak ahead after a couple of months, although the males sometimes start off faster and bigger so at this age sometimes they look very similar so don't start to show their sex related traits until sexual maturity.
My guess is largely based on the jowels, and width of the hips but it would be good to see some full length side by side photos from above and comparison with a known female of that lineage.
Nice lookers.

Keep in mind that that these are 4 different animals. They are now 1 yr olds. The first 2 pic show the first non sexed pair and the 3rd and 4th pics are 2 other animals. I know the pictures aren't great as I could not get them to stay still while my daughter snapped the picture

Re: opinions on the sex
My guess, now I know which ones are which from the photos. eek is that the ones in your right hand each time are males, the other two look girly-er but very hard to tell.. they are quite slender - normally if fed relatively continuously it is easier to tell because the females will generally become more barrel shaped.
Here is a photo of some of this years babies that I believe will be girls - despite their size difference. 75% confident that they are all female, if this helps.
