UPDATE: Pancake the rescue Halmahera

It never ceases to amaze me how resilient bts really are. My little rescue Halmahera, Pancake, went through her first shed since coming to me this morning and compared to when she got here looks like a billion bucks! What a sweet little lizard she is too, Im so grateful that beside being skinny, missing toes and having had a mild case of mouthrot she managed to come through her aweful ordeal pretty much okay.
Anyway, just wanted to share a few pics I took this morning while letting her get a little sun. She's still a pancake but has actually already put on a ton of weight and is doing just splendid.
It's been tricky to get her to eat normal bts food items, all she was ever fed for the first year or so of her life was bananas and occasionally other fruits. I've been trying to get her to eat some of the dubia and baby mice we breed but she just doesn't know what to do with them, poor thing. Snails though instantly became a favorite, she scarfed down a whole can a few days ago so I think a snail breeding tank is in my near future. lol.
