Postby SmaugTheBluey » Mon Jul 14, 2014 12:12 pm

So I've had him 3 months now and never had a problem with him pooping until recently. Ive been feeding him chicken Cat food all natural no bi-products with red lettuce and the occasional strawberry, he's been peeing normally and urating normally but no feces? :helpme:

If he's still eating, don't worry about it. It will probably happen sooner or later :)

Is that all you've been feeding? It's not much variety. That said, as long as it's a balanced cat food it should be okay I guess. I'd suggest more variety for the greens/veggies/fruits (cat food is a carnivorous diet).

If you're worried, offer some egg and/or banana. Both are much-loved foods, and both lead to messy, smelly poops. A good way of checking that the system is working.

@ fatal_s Normally I mix up his food every day but I fed him egg one night and the next feeding time he didn't eat so I waited till the next night assuming he just wasn't hungry but when I offered him chicken he didn't eat that so I gave him some cat food and that's all he would eat so I figured if he liked it and would eat so be it but I'm planning on switching it up once he's back on track but I should probably give him a bit more greens thanks for the help.... @donkeybuff hopefully; he went a little bit today so I think he's fine. Thanks!!!
