BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

Hey there,

I thought I would introduce myself, as I have just registered as a new member to the blue tongue(d) skink forum!
I live In Canada, and have two snakes (a beautiful, strong female corn, and a goofy male pinstripe ball python). I am not new to forums; I've been on a few other snake forums for awhile, and am sort of known as a "regular" on a ball python forum, if you will. But I digress.

I have yet to get my blue tongued skink, as the litter (is it litter?) was just born this past weekend! I believe the breeder is also a member on this forum as well, if I'm not mistaken!
I am so looking forward to reading more on the forum, discussing, learning about the members, and just learning about BTS in general. I have never had a lizard before, so I think this will be a unique experience.

Please feel free to offer up any "newbie" advice, suggestions, links to check out, or even questions to ask me.
(I have been rummaging through this website (bluetongueskinks.org) for a few weeks, and have read the care sheet multiple times. Such good stuff.)

What kind of skink are you waiting on? Northern? Merauke?

I believe it is a Northern I've read that they are often quite docile (perhaps not as babies though!) and generally get to the the largest of the BTS.
I am really hoping for an affectionate one, anyways

I am also waiting to get my BTS from a breeder. If you don't mind me asking who are you getting your baby from? I am so excited it is ridiculous!
