BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

A few update pics of the 4 prince regent X kunnanurra holdbacks i have hung onto from last season,ones gotten very pale,these guys started speckling up quite early ,ones more like the kunnanurras and has only just started to get a couple of speckles,in comparison my 2 holdback kunnanurras from season before still arent showing any head speckling

Looking forward to seeing how theu develop into adulthood,especially that light one

Yes sacs4010,these are northerns from the kimberleys area in wa,mums from the prince regent area,dads from kunnanurra

Those are some beauties Richard! Kimberly northerns are kind of like Rottnest Island shinglebacks. They're the same, just different, and 100x more rare!

Oppasite here jeff,rottnest iskand shingles are pretty much non existant in the pet trade here,though heard a trio sold recently for a price that makes what they go for there sound cheap,not sure if theres truth in it though

Love them, they look great. The really light one is definitely interesting. I like the dark one as well, it looks so odd to be a dark northern like that with the speckles on the head!

They should all lighten up as theu grow kat,only one of 60 of my kunnanurra juvies has stayed dark,oddly shes the most heavilu speckled with chunky big speckles

This is the only dark staying one,every other ones looked similar to the light female it the back ground

Hopefully see what she produces this season,her brothers dropping spermplugs galore as we speak which is earlier than usual,popped him in with those 2 girls yesterday just out of curiosity but he was persued by both females ,so yep theu arent ready yet,normally mid july they show first interest,usually late june early july though when i start seeing alot of sperm plugs,see what happens i guess,could be an early season,or just for him,lol

That prince regent female looks sensational. Can't wait to see what the dark kununurra female will throw this season.

Me either,especially after she ate what she dropped last season,possably still borns and alot of slugs,shes gotten fiesty as this year,alot like her mum,chasing the big male around the cage when i popped him in earlier today,she even has goes at me,female hormones,no males are safe,lol,even lizards,lol
