We're up to 9!
I'm missing a picture of someone, I'll have to sort out who when things calm down...

Two babies came out with some problems. I wasn't home when the first 8 were born, but my son says this one looked just like Tiny of last year when he came out, as if he was bent sideways. He's straightened out quite a bit since, but has some visible bumps:

The next one is a bit more severe, for now I will just post this picture of him:

He has eaten a couple bites and has taken some water, but seems pretty listless. :(

Beautiful babies as usual!
Having less than perfect babies is unforunately part of the whole breeding experience. Hope they come around for you.

Why, thank you!

You know, as short as her body is, to have NINE full size babies in there, I'm not surprised some of them came out looking bent and lumpy. I may actually have to think seriously about only allowing her to mate 2 -3 times, tops.

Awesome, congratulations! Sorry to hear about the abnormalities, but maybe they'll smooth over as time goes by.

Have to say i'm very drawn to the one in the fourth pic and the one born ninth.

I can tell you with almost 100% certainty that the 9th baby born will stay right here. Looks almost EXACTLY like Rosy right after she was born!

:thanks:
Xyla is a trooper; I'll have to start calling her Super Mama from now on!

I wasn't home (I swear these lizards have a sixth sense about that!) when the first 8 were born, had my super trooper 14 year old son taking care of everything for me; he made sure the two deformed ones were breathing and moving OK and were separated from everyone else.
But the reason I'm telling you all this (besides bragging a little about my trooper son) is that Xyla was acting totally defensive about her babies, totally different from Maddie! When the last 3 (before I got home) were born, she would corner them and stood guard! My son didn't dare reach past Xyla to get them out as she would charge his hand when he tried! He just stood there watching until I got home to make sure Xyla didn't act out towards the babies. (I'll have to go looking for a pot of gold for him for doing that!)
She's a Super Mama for sure!
