Pea straw mulch

Postby leamos » Fri May 09, 2014 3:07 am

I know quite a few keepers here in Australia use sugar cane mulch as substrate, pea straw mulch is very similar in its size and texture but can't find anything online about using it. Thoughts? Has anyone used it for their bluey?

Decided to try it out, seemed to go down well, enclosure is no riddled with tunnels. Here's a pic to show you what the stuff looks like. It was a bit dusty but easily sifted out
