My first babys of the season !

Got my first clutch of baby Northerns today @ (8) , and the fun begins !

Mom and dad only bred two times, January 21st and 27th ,the female was born here in 2004, the male is from Andrew in 2005, to
replace one I got from him that got kinked up while in Andrew's pocket on the plane , bringing it to me at the Daytona show . It never turned out to be a Sunset, it was supposed to be, but has some color.

I better go feed them , then put them all in separate tubs , before there are any accidents !

Very nice ray,look like decent sized babies and im glad im not the only one that says thats how babies get the lower back kink damage from climbing at sides like that and leaning back,northerns seem to be shockers for it

Right away everyone thinks "MBD" it's the easiest excuse, babies and adults can get stuck up in the corner, they cant fall sideways because the sides hold them up, and their tail helps hold them into the corner by not letting them fall backward over their own tail.

I've seen keepers using round tubs/large buckets/round troughs in trying to avoid this. But then those enclosures aren't very space friendly either.
