New Northern, Applesauce! Guess the sex?

Not new to BTS but getting back into them

I am the original owner of staceyleigh's "calypso" but was unable to keep her at that time. I have missed her so much that moving into a house prompted me to immediately look for another Northern, and I found a pretty critter on Craigslist who was "rescued" by some well meaning, but misinformed pet store employees. She definitely has/had MBD that gave her a lumpy tail, and she's also missing toes, but has a fantastic personality and eats like a horse. They called her a female so I am, too. Any educated guesses? I am on the waiting list for Calypso's next litter, and can't wait to have another one of these beautiful animals. I would like to get into the breeding aspect, but I am not going to breed Applesauce if she is a female because I am afraid the MBD may have affected her pelvis and would interfere with delivery. I am a vet tech at an exotics practice so I shot an xray to look at her skeletal structure which I also am posting, for funsies. Any information regarding possibly breeding a BTS with MBD would be great. I have a lot of research to do before even attempting to breed, I want to do it correctly!
Now for shameless pics, she is 18 months old and about 17 inches long.

Really looks like one of the babies I might have produced back in 2012, depending where that shop/original owner acquired him/her. Saddened to hear of the past it went through.
I couldn't give a definite answer on sex, pics aren't the best for me. I feel I see better characteristics when an overhead shot is taken with the skink on a flat surface.

Welcome back to blueys!

That's a gorgeous Northern. I can't tell sex either, the pics aren't great for that.

Not sure about sex, but she's very pretty! The bones in the tail are way more kinked than they appear to be just from looking at the tail.

Congrats on the new Northern, she is a beauty. It is good that she has you to care for her now!
Calypso is looking more gravid by the day, really plumping up in the back end!

The female I recently has several kinks in her tail as well. Is it necessarily MBD? If you look at your X-Ray the other bones look healthy and straight. Just wondering if there could be another cause. My chunky lady is very active and healthy despite having a messed up tail as well.

Thanks everyone! Bluetonguesofsa, I am unsure of where the original owners got her, but it's definitely possible she could be one of yours! I got an overhead shot as requested.

No ideas about this? If you look at the X-Ray provided, only the tail seems damaged. My female is the exact same way and shows no other signs of improper care from before she came to us other than that she is a bit of an anti-social butthead sometimes.

I'm not sure either way on the kinks! I would really be interested to hear more, but my little guy has obvious deformities from the outside as well.
