Did I miss the window?
I have a pair of Northerns. Warmed em up a few weeks ago and the male was showing some interest in the female. I moved 5 hrs away and had them all packed up for the move. After resetting them up I tried pairing them and he would bite but never seal the deal. Anyhoo as of the last week he is now scared of the female who has become much more assertive-he doesn't try pursuing her anymore. Sounds like a missed the breeding window or you think it is possible she will be receptive again/he will be agro to mate again?

Sounds like you may have missed the window, although female may just be cranky, some females apparently can be nasty, usually though if males flee ,females are likely done
A couple of seasons back my male had days where he showed no interest other days he would grab her before i put her down, mine mate in middle of winter when its at its coldest though and really cold days he would bask instead of showing interest in females
So could be worth more intros just to be sure

Re: Did I miss the window?
Be nice if their was a way to recycle a female. I had the same thing happen with this one last year-loaned my male to a friend presumably during that time she was receptive.
I've tried a few intros but he is just not into her and she will walk up to him and then gape her mouth and try to bite. She's a very well mannered female, he's bred much nastier customers before.

Hmmm, does she appear to gentlyish bite at him?
Couple of seasons ago on colder days when my main breeder male showed no interest, the female enticed him but gently biting at his front leg area, after a bit it woke him up and he mated her, happened a dew tines on cooler days, which seemed to make male not so interested, hes an aggressive breeder normally and this was in the middle of her window
When her windows done she normally persues the big male aggressivly

Re: Did I miss the window?
Gentle relatively speaking-but I think it is fairly agro as far as she goes. She will jerk and faint towards the male and he will turn his head pointed away from her. If she comes up and goes for his sides he backs off. In contrast, the weeks before he will usually ignore this behavior and circle looking for an opening.
She is a pretty female(one in my avatar) and I'd love to see results of this pairing. I guess next year...
