Bluey has soft poop?

Hi guys! So I just got my Merauke Blue Tongue Skink about a month ago. His name is Java and he is around 3 years old. I'm just a little unsure about the consistency of his feces. It's very soft and runny, and smells something awful. I'm conflicted over whether this is simply due to a change in diet, or if it may be parasites. He was a turn in, so it is possible his previous owner didn't take the best care of him. When I got him, they had been feeding him the Repashy Stew for Skinks, but since I've had him, I've changed him to a diet of high protein beef dog food mixed with veggies. I cook down a variety of these, typically one listed as "frequent" on the diet sheet, such as beet greens, arugula, green beans, or butternut squash, and then whatever else I have in my fridge, (carrots, pepper,etc.) After they're cooked, I process them together so they're fine and can be mixed into the dog food. Otherwise, like most skinks, he's not a big fan of veggies. On the days he's not fed (every other day), I'll give him a treat of a raspberry or a small slice of mango because I'm still getting him used to me and I figure an occasional treat won't hurt. I do limit that however, because I was trying to avoid diarrhea. His appetite is still very healthy, he eats almost if not all of what I give him, so it seems like his tummy's feeling fine, but like I said, the feces is very runny. Any advice? Either on the poop or if the diet needs to be improved. Thanks!

A fecal test would probably be in order as there may be things in his history that you do not know about.
Have you checked the poop-thread in the FAQ section?
Most of us don't cook the vegetables we serve our skinks as they are more nutritious raw. If he's not eating them raw you can chop them up really small before mixing them in with the dog food, and start with a very small amount that you increase over time. There is a thread or two on this as well in the FAQ section.
For treats, until his feces are more solid (and even then) I might switch the fruit to snails. My skinks all go crazy for the canned Zoo Med Can o' Snails.
