When we first got Lector last month, the first lump of urate I saw in his tank had a slightly dried orange look to it (just a very slight off-white colouration). I thought it had just been too close to the heat lamp before I had found it and urates just dried like that if 'baked' by being left near a heat lamp before cleaning. I didn't see any more like that, and assumed it was because he left them on the cool side of the tank.
On February 16th, 2014 (5 days ago), I saw him poop out another urate, and it had a strange orange watery-mucus on it:

I assumed when it dried, it would give the rate an off-white, brownish orange look to it.
Today he pooped out a urate that had a tiny bit of that orange muscus, but also a strange yellow mixture in with his urine:

Am I over-dosing with his herpivite vitamins and his calcium+D3? I dusted his food every day the first two weeks to make up for his lack of UVB in his first 6 months at the breeder's, and backed off to once every other day after that.
His poops used to be quite considerably large, but have been getting smaller and less frequent as of late, I am not sure if that is because I am not feeding him way more than he can eat anymore, or if it's because he's growing so rapidly now that there is less going to waste, or...? Parasites?
He's as active as ever, more curious of us and his surroundings than when we got him, and has a generally great appetite, he doesn't let food go to waste. Bright eyes, clean nostrils, etc.
