Keis Revisited

Been into photographing the skinks again lately - especially the Keis (though they're all inside shots - can't wait til it's warm enough here to take them outside again). Here's just 4 of them:

All imported Nov. 2013...

This is the smaller (sub-)adult female who was 230 g. at importation; now 400 g.

This is the adult (semi-)patternless male. He was 394 g. at importation; now 540 g.

Loving the semi patternless male with speckles,all really nice though,there all soldiering along nicely,good weight gain ect,beautiful skinks those keis

So you are going to torture me again by having to look at these! I especially like the animal in the first picture. They are really looking good.

David these never seem to be available in Europe. I never hear about them anyway...

Very nice animals, they make me jealous!

Mark, I think when they are imported over there they are frequently mislabeled. It happens here too, but less often than it use to. A lot of times they get snatched up by someone who knows what they actually are without the importer ever realizing that they aren’t “New Guinea” blue tongue skinks.
