Patternless keyensis from Kei Island (unsure of certain city):

This Kei is owned by Yance.

Patternless gigas from Ambon:


Patternless Merauke from Merauke region (unsure of certain village/city, just knows Merauke region):

This Merauke was owned by Adri Tasma but sold to out of Indonesia.

Axanthic Sorong region Indonesian:


Tanimbar from Tanimbar (again, unsure of exact city, just knows they were found on the main island (Tanimbar):

This Tanimbar is owned by Vando Salvar

Another Tanimbar, also exported from Tanimbar (he said there is now only one place they collect Tanimbars, and the silvers are rare in captivity in Indonesia):

This Tanimbar is owned by Diego Santoz

Axanthic (one on the left is the Sorong, the other two are Halmahera, the Ambon locale Indonesia is also pictured, with an unknown locality evanescens):


I told him you guys wanted him to post them here, but he asked me to post them for you guys. He stated that the Axanthics with with thinner bands are likely found around Sorong (but not positive, Axanthics outside of Halmahera are not common), rather than Halmahera. The ones with thicker bands are Halmaheras. He is unsure what the Tanimbars found on the surrounding smaller islands look like.

Austin, the friend that sent me these pictures is the one that stated yours was absolutely Tanimbar.

Did he say that he had seen any like it?

I love the patternless indo! It looks awesome, especially because it retained the vertical lines that run down the back. Thanks Dr. Gigas.

I'm more fond of the axanthic Sorong. Only have seen a few in the US that looks like his Sorong.. resembles Brad's.. and the one Underground had available not long ago.

And I did not bother to ask, but I just now sent him a message asking.

I have a patternless Kei (though he's speckled) and so did Brad (Bird_Brain).

These Tanimbars are owned by Sufjan.

Just imagine the red bands slightly bleeding to the silver as it gets older, giving it a brick red monochromatic appearance as an adult.

That's very interesting. At least from those pictures, they almost look like little Tanimbars with tokay gecko color schemes.

You do realise locality animals need to actually have the locality of there capture known to be an actual locale animal

Yes some nice, interesting animals there. Of course locality information coming out of Indo is notoriously bad..

The very silvery axanthics with the narrow bands come in mixed together with the blacker/wider banded ones and normal Halmaheras. I don't think they come from Sarong. I've always thought that these markings are only found on males. Certainly the only animals I've seen like this looked to be males.
