Okay, Austin's thread has opened my eyes. He posted a what most would classify as an IJ, and got ID'd by Ray as a Tanimbar. Austin said that Ray said that Tanimbars used to come in various colors and patterns -- which apparently no one sees anymore.
When I inquired about London, and got pictures, he appeared to be an IJ with more scincoides influences. He also appeared to be chubby in the photo. But when he got to me, he wasn't chubby at all. It was muscle.. not even kidding. I previously owned an IJ for like 4 years, and he was so much different than than her.. the way he felt was so different. Holding Thiswai wasn't much different than holding my Meraukes or Halmaheras.. but London felt like holding an IJ on steroids. He has a very, very tiny tail (I mean TINY), he is also small at 20". He has more body than tail. He has only like two colors on him. Silver and brown. His front arms, head, and body base color is silver, but his thin striping is brown. He has a bit of gold dusting running down the spine, and his belly has thin orange stripings.. but nothing significant. I was looking in the blue bible, and it said that Tanimbars usually have fewer than 5 scales between the upper lip and interparietal*, and Merauke/IJ'S are supposed to have 5. London has 4. Remember that thread I started, wondering about his scalation.. since it wasn't fitting IJ's? He is also very shiny, compared to my Meraukes. He does have thick scalation, but that depends on how he was raised from a bub.
But stating similarities, here are some differences. He isn't mean toward humans, although he has a hate for other skinks. He doesn't pee when being held, although sometimes he struggles.
What do you think? I'm going to call Ray Friday sometime and ask what he think. I just don't think he is an IJ. That is why I decided against breeding him, just because he didn't seem IJ.

just in case anyone was wondering.
