Hi All,
I know that Toothless usually loses some color before he sheds, but suddenly he is almost ghost white. He is extremely pale. I'm not sure if he is about to shed or what, but I don't recall ever seeing him this white. His weight seems ok, but I've noticed he has been spending a lot of time in the cold side (wet as well as it is near his waterfall). It has also been snowing a lot here, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Any advice?

Thanks Linnea! He has a way of always coming up with new ways to scare me haha.
My favorite is the time he decided to stop using his back legs, and was just dragging himself around. I was freaking out thinking I broke his legs.

theyre usually sensitive at this time, id not disturb him until hes shed if i were you. theyre a little more defensive and hide more, i suppose to preserve energy needed for their little beautification process
hm. is there a topic about that on the forum? im sorry, ive been away so much i barely know my way around anymore....they can drag their legs if theyre not able to poop for a while.

I can drag him out and take a picture tomorrow if that is ok. My gf and I just had him out, and he is less than happy right now.

Oh my, wow!!! That's a stunning difference. You have such a beautiful animal
It's good for beginners like me to see images like this so I don't panic myself to death every time my skink does something new/weird. Thanks for sharing!

Wow! You could probably sell Rio out of shed for 100 bucks more than you could in shed.
