BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

I adopted a mbd indo around 8 months ago about 5 days ago got a crusty rt. eye after getting some substrate stuck in it. I got it out with a soak and a q tip but his eye got worse and swollen. Yesturday morning I woke up to his eye all bloody because he must have rubbed it on something. He also gets crustys or stuff stuck on the sides of his mouth but goes away after sheds and comes back again. I got him to the vet yesterday evening. When we got home and I put Bender back I placed him all his basking rock, a hour and half later he didn't move an inch. He finally went to his tube and went to bed. He has stayed there all day today until I took him out to give him his meds. He just seems really lethargic. Not himself at all. Yesturday before the vet he ate great was his normal self. In the car on the way there he was climbing the walls of his tub, ect. I just want to write down what the vet said and what meds he is on to make sure it all looks good. Do you think he is still just worn out from vet ordeal yesterday?
The vet seems like he knows what hes doing as far as I can tell. He just frowned upon the dog food as part of his diet. oh well. So here is the findings...
Severe kyphosis/scoliosis
Stomatitis(rt.side of mouth) and perioccular dermatitis with conjunctivitis (rt. eye)
4+ pinworms in stool
Also blood was collected for metabolic testing ( I haven't heard back anything on that yet)
Here is the meds...
Ciprofloxacin 0.3% Apply 1 drop to rt. eye every 8 hrs until recheck in 2 weeks
Fenbendazole 100mg/ml (panacur) Give 0.2cc by mouth once a day for 5 days then repeat course after a 2 week break
Ceftazidime Injectable 100mg/ml 8 units (0.08cc) of the liquid dose Inject into muscle of upper front leg. Repeat every 72 hrs (three days) until all doses gone. He had one dose yesterday and they sent me home with 9 more.

Im just sooo worried about him!! Is there anything else I should be doing?

What's his humidity level? Sometimes, the eye issues are compounded by low humidity.

We have a little stick on digital humidty thing so I dont know how accurate it is. It says 40% He is on aspen with large water dish and has a humid hide that he doesnt use that often. He really likes when we spray his tank. We tried eco earth substrate but that is what got stuck in his eye and he pooped some out too.

Since you have an indo, I would suggest switching to a substrate that holds humidity better (I prefer cypress mulch) and raising the humdity level to around 60%. People have had a lot of success with treating eye issues by raising humidity.

Ok thanks! I will switch to cypress. Do you guys bake or anything before using. I read it can have bugs in it? Bender perked up yesturday after I put him in is humid hide and sprayed so he definitely would like it more humid. He started shedding today. Still havent heard about his blood work so i will call them tomorrow. After reading some old posts I think I might try and get a mister soon.

I've never baked the mulch I get from the pet store; I've heard the mulch from Home Depot/Lowes sometimes has bugs in it. That doesn't mean that the pet store mulch is 100% bug free. Baking it isn't a bad idea.
