BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

Went out to check on blueys,and watched fatso pacing about abit,read almost rolling over when she walks and noticed she started pushing,last 2 pics are baby number 2 first lot are of number one,have a feeling she will go close to pipping her record of 16 babies this season,shes even fatter than usual,here comes number 3

Oddly again ,late in the day starting at 7.30 pm,though misses turned lights out at ten am so could have delayed her,i didnt get home from work till 5 pm,started new job today

3 and 4 are out in quick succession,shes not liking me taking pics or retrieving babies so will give her a break before she eats my foot or fone,lol,i filmed number 4 being born so might pop it on u tube channel later,5 is on its way,no noticable weight loss yet

5 more whilst i went down the shops quickly,so 9 so far,can notice a bit of weight loss now but still rather solid,shes my feisty lass,normally ok with me but this year wants to hurt me if i enter the cage,the babies are rather fiesty compared to prince regent lasses,number 2 was even biting at face of wild caught male who was sitting there basking

Yours must be awfully close rory,im amazed all 3 females have started so late in the day,other times ive seen it its usually early arvo

As was 11,all the others ive seen so far had broken out before popping head out of mum

It's gross but cute! I'm not sure how I feel about them until they get all the goo off. Then they're adorable.

Quick check before work this morning found a few more,14 all up,will have a proper check this arvo

Home from work and found number 15,took a couple of pics outside of him/her,i think thats it for her,she hasnt lodt as much weight as in previous 2 years but is noticably lighter now,still not interested in eating,well food,still afrer me ,lol

This fwmale was mated between 21 and 26 of july 7 times all up,pretty confident she ovulated on 27th july so gestation from july 27 to november 25th was 121 days for 15 babies,shes a bit of a machine,44 babies last 3 seasons

She was bred to offspring from her normal kunnanurra male,a nt/kunnanurra cross i got as a baby with the kunnanurra male,so will be interesting to see how they develop,the wild caught male her sister and her reside with full time may have snuck a few in as well
