A few outdoor snaps

Postby Lea » Wed Oct 23, 2013 10:21 pm

I sat in the enclosure for a half hour this morning, just checking everyone over and googling at the gorgeous shinglepiles. As I sat cross legged, Nippy decided I was a good place to curl up and tucked himself between my legs for a nap! Shinglebacks can be so funny sometimes.

Sorry for the slight blur in some photos, it's just the case on my iPhone getting in the way

If I ever make it to Australia I'm coming to visit you. I want to meet Nippy. He is my favorite shingle ever.

Aww, I'll let him know. He'd be my favourite if I didn't have to share my favouritism with all the other shinglebacks

Thats some nice variety in color lea, shows they can vary alot in a particular area,i love the liggt brown ones ,the high yellowy ones to,years ago i had a couple of really green qld ones, they were big and a giant pr of purpley marone looking ones with big yellow flecks we got from a friend of my mums, never seen any like them since so not sure on locales, will have to see if i can find some old pics, the variety in aspera goes so much deeper than most can imagine, sizes and color wise
