Male's all seperate becouse they where a little bit grumpy to each other.

Nice looking animals jos,bottom female looks in with females,as does first male,rest of adults look merauke,the baby pics 2 of babies,bottom two in hold backs from 2012 have ij look with a bit of meurake look,like reduced pattern on above 2 merauke ones

All nice looking skinks that your doing quite well with

I would consider some of those adults to be IJs, but beautiful babies nevertheless. Post pics more often! :)

They are all gorgeous animals. It's a tight squeeze with all the females in the tub, but makes for a great picture.

Lovely animals, jos, congratulations on a beautiful bunch of blueys!

Your proven IJ x Merauke mixes look exactly what some people would call a "New Form Merauke".. would this prove that "New Form"'s are just intergrades between the two different species?

It would be an interesting thought.. because you see different "types", per sé, of the "New Form" Merauke.. some have more IJ traits, and some have more Merauke traits.. maybe when a IJ x Merauke breeds together, it makes the "New Form" Merauke, then which ever the baby breeds with (Either to an IJ or Merauke) creates a lesser version, and eventually gets bred out (If kept breeding to which ever it bred to after his parents created him).. :chin:

Next year I put the two IJ lookings together and see what happens. :roll:

Good luck with them! I thought a few looked like IJ crosses too. Pretty nonetheless - looking forward to seeing more babies! :)
