New member, long time enthusiast

Hi all,

Great to see a forum specific to the bluetongues, I've only just joined and in a days browsing have already found a huge amount of useful info, so thanks to all that contribute.

I'm a longtime keeper/breeder from Adelaide, South Australia and started out with T. rugosa aspera 18 years ago, my collection has grown substantially since then, but they would still be amongst my favourites, along with T. occipitalis.

My specific interests lies in collecting and breeding South Australian pure locale specific reptiles, so I thought I'd post a pic of one of my favourite adult pairs of sleepies for you guys, nothing special compared to some of the WA locales but i love em none the less. this line originates from Monarto in the riverland mallee, about 60kms east of Adelaide.

I look forward to exploring the forum further.

Beautiful Asper Mark!

I really appreciate Asper and have a few of my own. I also enjoy attempting to obtain locale specific animals if at all possible. Though, for non-Aussie folks like me it is more "regional" than locale specific, if that.

There is another heavy poster and SA member whose posts you might be interested in, Lea. Check out her posts and pics...I have seen many very similar to the two you posted here.

Thanks a lot guys, I'm loving this forum already, so much bluetongue knowledge and experience in one place, and none of the nonsense of other reptile forums, wish I'd known about it sooner.

Those are great looking aspers, and welcome to the forum. I would love to see some pictures of occis too. We don't see too many of those outside of OZ.
