Sorry I introduced us and then dropped off the face of the earth
Cahaya is doing well and it looks like s/he will be keeping the toe after all.
On towels now and that seems to be an acceptable tradeoff for my cleanliness, money and impaction worries (along with my lungs..for whatever reason aspen/cocofibre and the like mess with me) and Cahaya's need to burrow (there's two layers of blankets so they can get underneath one and be cozy in their hide).
Whenever s/he goes to the bathroom I just chuck the towels in the wash (I have designated 'skink towels' that are washed separately) and put down a new one from the 'skink pile'.
Food-wise we're still having a bit of a war
In regards to that S/he LOVED the hornworms buut...isn't so sold on the green stuff. So we're still working on it.
Although Cahaya does have a UV light I dust 2x a month with D3 calcium and the other two weeks are a multivitamin to be on the safe side especially since they aren't exactly eating a balanced diet right now.
