I've just moved house and for the last week the lizards have been slumming it in a small enclosure, their temporary holdings until I had time to sort out their new outdoor space. Well, I managed to build the framework today, giving them room again to stretch their legs. I haven't put the catproofing over the top, which I'll do later on, but since I'm outside all day I let them have an explore anyway.
Kiah got so excited he started to shed and Nippy looked kind of bored with the picture taking when he rewarded me with a big yawn, but all in all, they look settled and inquisitive in their new surroundings.
It's a corner area, about 9 by 5 by 5 feet, which is ample room and has plenty of hidey holes amongst the plants and hides. Hopefully they'll be very happy in there.

It looks great Lea! I'm sure they are looking forward to the waterfall and pond though. When will you be getting that built.

Oh, it's not quite the Hilton I had in Mount Torrens, but I'm sure they'll get used to it. They have a middly sized pool already, which I'll probably be able to link up to a slightly drippy hose to have it filled with fresh water all the time. Water restrictions mean I can't keep the hose on, but if it's a drippy connection
If they want the jacuzzi and steam room, they'll have to high-tail to your place and check out your new pads!

I'm sure yours will look more professional than my girly put together, Richard. At least my skinks don't seem to care much for aesthetics

That's a really lovely enclosure area they have there and they look so happy in it. I think I'm developing a case of shingleback envy
