Nearly tripped over a wild shingleback today

Postby Lea » Fri Oct 04, 2013 9:24 pm

Ok, not quite, but I was out for a run between the sand dunes and the beach, when I heard a distinct little sneeze to my left. I looked, all excited as I recognised it to be a shingleback sneeze and to my delight I saw a happy little shingleback enjoying the morning sun.

The pictures aren't great, but I couldn't help but share my excitement!

Remember, you're not allowed to pick up wild animals in Australia. It said so in the smuggling article posted a couple days ago. :hehe:
