BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

today i believe i just missed seeing my old line pr of rugosa asperas mating,male was moving away from female,tail slightly raised and rubbing down side of cage,normally what he does when putting it back in its sheath,also found 2 giant sperm plugs in the water bowl which is a good sign,they only seem to drop them from just before mating attempts to during there season then stop,well from what ive seen anyways,timings a couple of days earlier then last season,but temps have been in low to mid 20s all week outside so explains that,ill keep an eye out and try and get pics

i still find it odd that stumpies have such sizable plugs,they are sizable lizards i guess but my oldline boy isnt big by aspera standards,35 cm total length and the plug size looks like a 2 metre long lizards dropped then compared to what the northerns drop

almost looked like 2 albino mexican walking fish had been let loose in the water bowl,haha

hopefully i get to witness them fooling around
