returned heat to all the indoor blueys,except female western who is waiting ten days or so for male to go in blue,the northerns should also be close to starting to,so i shall report how they go .

last year with westerns i woke female ten days after male,but cage was cold enough in places they remained sluggish,male took 41 days to shed,so may have stuffed up syncing them,this season ive got cage quite a bit warmer,which suits that method better,males out alot more so hopefully that helps,ill probably wake female in 7 more days,but will try and hold out till male looks close to shedding

Already???? Geez.. I usually start putting things together very late August through until mid September. The winter solstice was only last week! At home here it has only really become cold in the last week or so. Been a mild winter so far, not even a frost. The norm is usually half a dozen light frosts or so. Once July is done winter is pretty much over, but that's Queensland for you

The bright and warm sunny days in adelaide, has kept the shinglebacks up and awake! There's only been two or three dull days, with rain, when I haven't seen them! It's been 18 degrees here all week, so I doubt they have thoughts of sleeping on their minds at all.

It's a different story for kiah, the eastern, though, who thinks anything under 25 degrees is winter, I haven't seen him for weeks.

joys of Melbourne rory,gets that cold by start of may most of my stuff goes down even with heat lamps still on,and stuff stays sluggish for awhile even with heat returned, normally return heat start of july but they still hangout to start mating when outdoors ones do,usually oct,when ambients have risen

male westerns hemipenal buldge is quite pronounced ,barely noticed swelling last season,you would have to be blind not to see it this season,hes more active to,looking forward to waking up the lass
