This is Virginia, my new female Evanescens.

I recently made the BEST skink chow ever. I have to say.. although it took me 3 hours to make it, they love it more than anything I ever fixed.

The skink chow is totally based off the third comment of this thread: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=20387

Ema even likes it, if that tells you something..

But anyways, Virginia is eating like a pig. Definitely not a sign of being late in pregnancy IF she is.. (..which I hope she is)

I feed in my rarely used bathtub, they seem to relax a lot in there.

being in a warm climate you really should bathe more,hehe

nice looking lass,does look solid

check her breathing compared to her partner,often if gravid,females will have laboured breathing,or do the odd squirm,but to make it interesting,some lasses show very little,dont even appear to fatten up

if gravid they are eating for them selves plus any babies sapping there nutrients ect,so some will eat right through even the day before birthing,they also need to keep condition on for after dropping,to regain condition before brumating again,even non gravid lasses like to bulk up with that in mind as babies can take alot out of them

I'm going to be switching her substrate to newspaper.. don't want to the babies to be eating care-fresh..
