In Preparation!

Postby WiFiber » Mon Jun 03, 2013 3:57 pm

Hi everyone! New poster here!

As I am preparing for the arrival of my new baby Northern I thought I would post up a list of things I have or am planning to get to be checked out by all of you.

I am purchasing an apparently new Critter Condo (5 x 2 x 2) on craigslist, how does this sound for $175?

Next, I have a ReptiSun 10.0 UVB tube left over from my late Beardie, would this be too strong of a light? Considering that the fixture is inside the enclosure?

I still have not decided on a basking spot lamp, would you mind giving me suggestions?

Aspen for bedding, and the normal amenities (hides and etc.).

I would normally refer to the caresheet, but I felt like it was better to get an answer from all of you as well.

Thank you!

I usually put my basking spots on either the far left or far right..but if cage is big enough, people sometimes put them in the middle of the cage..

That price sounds good on the cage.. but I am purchasing 3 55 gallon enclosures all for $120.. from craigslist.. but your deal sounds reasonable.

I remember reading that you can buy bulbs at Home Depot for a much lower price? Which ones would these be? If you have any idea.
