outdoor enclosure
I am just wondering whether blue tongues can be kept outside here in south Louisiana. the climate is humid subtropical. in the winter it averages around 65 degrees in the summer it gets rather hot. the humidity is also rather high. we also have very short winters that last only two months. I was wondering because I know blue tongue skinks brumate which is what many reptiles here do. the weather is comparable to south florida only a tad bit colder in the winter. thanks in advance. this question is just for my own curiosity I am not planning to keep them outside all year.

Re: outdoor enclosure
If your climate is similar to certain species then yes they will live happily outdoors, the more the weather varies the more u have to customise to cater for that making it trickier,u can also just have them out in good weather, but just like indoors u still need to cater for temp gradients, hides ect ect,but you have less control of conditions outdoors
