BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

hi everyone im about to get a irian jaya blue tongue skink so i was wondering can anyone tell me about them like what they eat, how big they get, how many times to feed them everyday, things like that i would really apreciate it thanks!!

See the three numbers at the very bottom of my posts? Many of us have those, makes it easy for others to see what you have.
My numbers are 3.2.7 Merauke. First number stands for how many males, middle for how many females, and third is how many that you don't know the sex of.

Meraukes are known to get up to 26"..while 21" or so is most common.

Largest I can think of is 28inches commonly 24inches.

24? I always heard 21" was most common..

My IJ is at least 15 years old. He is about 24 inches long.

wow 15 years old! he's getting up there i think he finished growing now

15 odd is still not overly old for tiliqua,they can easily get well into there 20s

With sizes quoted in literature,they are generally average sizes of museum specimens,so dont accuratley give you there full growth potential,ive seen for example an eastern of 62 cm and a lowland blotched of 61.5 cm,both wild specimens from the mornington peninsula,measured by me and a friend,both a lot bigger than whats often stated as maximum size

But again,most of max size stuff is taken from averages of museum animals or study animals,wild animals and isnt a true reflection of growth potential more just averages

so what is the common size for an iraian jaya bts to reach in inches?

I believe 21"..

I think my IJ is about 22", he's also quite a chubby!
