Our new Meraukes!

Postby Scincoides » Mon May 27, 2013 12:29 pm

ok, first of all, i cant get a decent picture of these things to save my life. My digital camera and my phone both wash the colors out horribly. Im going to add new pictures to this post as often as i can. I just dont want to disturb them by snatching them out of their enclosures to get pics.

All of these photos were taken the day that they arrived. I may pull a few out to get new ones this evening, but if not i will for sure tomorrow. Again, to give credit where credit is due, Susann these guys are amazing. Especially Jazz. Thank you again :ohyes:

I swear Jazz is smiling in that picture of her in her tank! :D

Good luck finding a camera that shows the orange! I haven't been able to get many decent photos where the color looks like "in person".

I'm just happy to have found a super good home for my babies :ohyes:

Thanks Dakota. ML on the Indonesian species I use a 75/25 mix of peat and cypress. On the Northerns I use just cypress mulch

I also sprinkle a little new Zealand sphagnum moss in there to help keep humidity up. I have a terrible time keeping humidity up here, but the moss helps.
