These guys are tricky,some u can see it,others totally look one way but end up the other

Id say female going of body,but ive seen pics of known pairs that the males actually the girly looking one so im not very confident unless i see buldging

Could Gucci being chubby or recently fed make the body look a little fuller and more like a female? Or is that based on a narrower head as well?

Over all appearence,females are often,not always but often chubbier in appearence,especially towards back of body,down near the hips,males being more streamlined,and yeah,sometimes head relative to body to

I say sometimes as its not 100 percent and sometimes sexual differences are very subtle,sometimes you just plain cant tell and u need to rely on behaviour,and thats if they ball and show you,lol

Head size doesn't matter very much, females don't necessarily have smaller heads. And it is body proportion or how they put on / carry their weight. So one meal won't make a difference.

Gucci is kind of an in-between looking one. Not all can be sexed visually, some are nearly impossible.

Gucci is kind of an odd skink in that I haven't seen a lot like him. When I first posted about Gucci there wasn't even a consensus on Indo or a subspecies. Whatever the gender or species, still a great animal and happy to care for it.

Is a bit of throat displaying something both genders do (or even something BTS do)? Gucci will lift his head up and show off his neck if he's out and in an active state, usually when he's imposed on. Sometimes the neck looks extra red and colorful.

I know some other lizards do change their colors very noticeably, not sure if BTS even do that or if I'm imagining it.
