No, cat's weren't in the room while he was lose. Yes, I'm a horrible owner that feeds cat food that is high in taurine and protein to skinks (on occasion!!).

Out for a wander. Found the cat food that was left uneaten. Can't waste food!

You should post pictures of all your skinks, Katrina!

Of course, criticize. Umm, actually Phoenix has over doubled in size / weight since I got him. But he's always been tiny, no matter how much I feed or how often he is impossible to plump up. But you know this, since you have followed my posts and my struggles with trying to plump him up and try to get him to grow.

Truley. I love how much variety they come in. This little dude has very thin black bands, and my Merauke has semi-thin, black out-lining, with brown/orange scales here and there.
I'm starting to fall for the Meraukes!

Sorry, ML! I might be sensitive to this, because he is such a tough customer. Almost impossible to get him to gain weight. He's very slowly growing, but he's a few years old at this point. Obviously no parasites or health issues. Just tiny. But when I let him out he eats left over cat food like ive been starving him. Lol.

Re: Crappy iPhone pic
He looks great, Kat! In perfect shape, as Richard said, for a lean and strong healthy male. Some are tough to bulk up, where as others need a WeightWatchers club! Don't fret, Kat, you do a fantastic job of looking after your skinks, however much ML tries to undermine it.

Re: Crappy iPhone pic
Kat just needs to send him to Jeff's place...he has some special ionizer in the air or something that forces skinks to eat like mad! I take them back and they won't eat the EXACT same thing they were eating at his place like it was going out of style!!!
Many males I have had just won't bulk up appearance wise, but they are usually just fine in the "weight" department and plenty healthy...
