BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

I was watching my Merauke poop ( )..and I seen something sticking out.. it looks pointy, but couldn't make anything out of it, since her tail shaded over.. I was thinking maybe the bend of her cloaca scale? I don't know.. after my last thread, hoping I have both females.

Next time, I will have my flashlight handy.

Are undeveloped hemipenes (..as in not sexually mature) pointy? It looks white, from what I seen.

Not a hemipene if it was white...they can be huge and they are bright pink or red. Trust me, you will KNOW when you have been flashed!!

Will they still be huge, even though he isn't sexually mature?

I believe they're born with the hemipenes at full size, just like everything else. I can't be sure however, so no guarantees.
