I got noam back on Aspen bedding, but he seems to get a bit in his mouth while burrowing, and licking, it is shreaded aspen, but the pices are not very large thin pieces, should i take him off of it, he gets a bit in his mouth and might swollow a bit, but now the large pieces.
he did have it for several months before, and he was ok
any opinions

Mine are on aspen and will eat the occasional bit but avoid most. As long as you're feeding on a large dish so he isn't eating off of it, it should be fine. You can buy aspen with the larger sizes so they aren't just slivers - that's what I get and it works well.

yeah, he is not eating large chunks just the ocasional small slice, very very thin and short. I dont feed him in the cage either he will just get 1 or 2 small threatds each time he burrows.

a few here and there wont hurt. As long as he's not eating tons of it on purpose (which would be reallllllly weird) you are fine
