at what age do BTS start dropping sperm plugs?

I would guess when sexually mature, but I don't know..
I need to know when to start looking.

how long is a piece of string?
theres no set age,probably more a mininum size,as they all grow differently,some get big fast,others take ages

Like Richard said, there really isn't any specific age. You're probably more likely to see it the older they get, but it definitely can take a long time to start occurring, if you even notice it. Sometimes substrates can hide sperm plugs pretty well.
Just as an example, my northern Phineas started dropping at about the 5-6 month mark.

I have never seen plugs from my males (although I could just be missing them), and the youngest is about 1.5 yo.
