Pic heavy - some shots of the blue tongue colony

Not sure who knows or particularly cares, but I took over care of the colony of blue tongues we're conditioning at work. Definitely a work in progress, and a lot of work caring for 39 blue tongues, but it's a lot of fun. Here's a few shots I've taken over the last week while caring for the beasties.

Many of the larger indonesians are Halmhara imports, and they are mean and cranky and HATE EVERYTHING. Naturally they are my favorites and they make me laugh with the continual stink eye:
Image

One of the big imported Irian Jayas. These are warming up to me quickly and have already figured out I'm the source of the tasty bluey meat mix they get every week.
Image

My favorite Merauke - we just got this one in the last month, so it's still putting on weight and getting into shape. Real skittish too, but so pretty!
Image

One of the little darling baby Irian Jayas being raised up. The more of these I see, the more I like them.
Image

The other new baby IJ - adorbs. Both of them dozed off basking in the sunlight while I had them out for natural sunlight this afternoon, cute little things.
Image

awwww nap time!
Image

Another one of the new imports - anyone else think this looks an awful lot like a Kei island, or is it just a really cool looking Indo? I have several super green Indos, but this one is wackier looking than they are.
Image

Anyway, thanks for looking. I'll share more as I'm there longer - I've only been working with the skinks for a couple weeks now, so I'm still getting familiar with each skink. It's a LOT of cages to clean and check every day... and a LOT of food!

Finally!!! But 39 skinks and only 7 pictures :nono:
That's a pretty indo looking indo to me. It reminds me of SapphireTigresses' indo.
Green Indo? I don't think I have seen a green indo before? Do you have pics?
You have a wonderful group!!! One of the best I've seen!
Are customers allowed to see the breeding facility?

Haha, I'm not joking when I say a lot of the halmhara indos are cranky. I have bleeding fingers that I'd like to heal before trying to mess with them some more!

Customers cannot visit the breeding center, sorry. At least not right now. Maybe someday! The best I can do is take lots of pictures. I'll have to snap some more - I was also messing with the chameleons and Rankins dragons, and wanted to leave the blueys to eat their fuzzies in peace.

Thanks guys! I am pretty stoked to be working with them all. I should start naming them...

IJ's are often times captive bred.

I meant from them. The more CB IJs on the market, the better.

Nuh-uh, mines better :)
More captive bred animals of any kind are better than snatching them up from the wild! :D

That classic Merauke is making me drool...I really need to get my hands on some classics!!

Thanks everyone! Sorry, I was at NARBC chicago this weekend. Had a TON of fun hanging out with some aussies on Saturday night, actually.

Yes those are all at the LLL breeding facility, and yes I work at LLL, and yes I am that girl in the videos, lol. I'm hoping in the next year or two to have a lot of CB babies - I adore the IJs and I'm hoping to get some of the funky looking ones going. White and tan irian jayas, anyone? :)
