No - the forum is backed up so no content will be lost. The issue was with the hosting company - they had some problems and then, of course, their 24/7 helpdesk was flooded with calls so it took a very long time to get through. I'm switching to a different hosting company and a slightly different hosting plan so I'm hoping this doesn't occur in future!

It should be switched over today and it won't be in a shared hosting environment so other sites usage won't slow down this site or cause it to go down.

ttreptile1 - thanks for the offer! I think I have it worked out but if I have issues I may end up asking you some questions.

Every day I stop by and read the posts. I've learned a lot and was so happy when the site came back up!

You don't realize how often you visit this site until it's not available. I must have tried on 6 different occasions without even remembering.
