Teeth growing in causes raised scales?

I was spending time with one of my Meraukes, and I noticed one of his top lip scales were raised a little bit. At first I thought it was mouth-rot, but when I looked in his mouth, there was one big tooth, it looked like an ordinary BTS tooth, curved, I didn't see any that size of the one I looked at.
Could the tooth cause a raised scale?
I would post a picture of the tooth, but can't keep his mouth open long enough. Will post pictures of scale tomorrow.

BTS don't have curved teeth, so I'm not sure what you mean by this being a normal tooth. As for the raised scale, it's possible that an infected tooth or a mouth abscess could cause it, but it could be down to a number of many things- an injury, mites, stuck shed ... It's guesswork without a picture.

Probably not. Also, I am not aware of anyone who does skink braces, so there is most likely nothing you can do about crooked teeth.

Curved as in little bumps. They looks like little white hills, not coming far from the gum.

I was thinking it might be too big for his mouth.. But you guys will have a better guess tomorrow.

Let me tell you, it looks huge. In fact, I didn't even see any more teeth, but then again he was frightened that I had to pry his mouth open, so I didn't get a good look.
I hope he is fine.

It's not unusual for them to have only a few teeth visible. If you think it's abnormally large, or in danger of rubbing the gums and causing damage, go to a vet for some advice. Unfortunately, without seeing the tooth, it will be hard to say whether or not it's normal or not. I'm sure photographing it will be a little tricky!

Looks normal. Maybe I'm not seeing what you're talking about?
But the slightly raised scale around the mouth is normal, some blueys have it. It isn't caused by teeth.

Under it, there is like a cirlce indention, is that normal, also?

I have no idea what I am supposed to be seeing. looks totally normal to me.
